International expansionCasting.fr, an international expansion strategy
A strategy to take a leading casting listings platform international: choice of markets, adaptation of the offer and a roll-out roadmap.
The context
Casting.fr brings together beginner and experienced performers, extras, children and the professionals who post their castings. Well established in France, the platform wanted to grow abroad. The right countries still had to be chosen, how castings work there understood, and what should change, or not, from one market to another decided.
What we did
- Analysis of candidate markets: size, how the industry is organised, local competition, habits of performers and recruiters.
- Choice and order of the countries to open, based on potential and launch effort.
- Adaptation of the offer to each market: language, business model, offers for professionals, legal framework, particularly for child castings.
- A local acquisition strategy to attract both performers and advertisers from launch.
- A staged roll-out roadmap, with the indicators used to decide whether to continue or adjust.
Casting.frWhat the project brings
