Legal informationPrivacy policy
We process little data, and only what is needed to reply to you and run the website. Here is what, why, and what you can ask for.
Data controller
The data controller is Kopus (SASU, registration in progress), 21 rue Pixérécourt, 75020 Paris, France, reachable at Let’s discuss your project.
Data we process
- Information you voluntarily send us through the contact form, by email or during a conversation: name, company, email address, phone number, topic and content of your message. It is used solely to reply to your request.
- Technical connection data recorded by the server for security purposes: IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser.
- On the contact page, the data sent to Google’s reCAPTCHA service to tell a human submission from an automated one: IP address, information about the browser and about the interaction with the page.
- Preferences stored by the essential cookies described in the cookie policy: language, cookie choice, dismissal of the language bar.
The website contains no data-collection form, no advertising tracker and no third-party audience measurement tool.
Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your requests and discussing a project: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in answering an enquiry.
- Ensuring the security and proper operation of the website: legitimate interest.
- Remembering your browsing preferences: technical necessity, no consent required.
Retention periods
- Messages received through the form or by email: for the duration of the relationship, then three years after the last contact for prospecting purposes, unless a longer legal obligation applies (for example, contractual and accounting documents).
- Connection logs: twelve months maximum.
- Essential cookies: twelve months maximum from the time they are set.
Recipients and transfers
Your data is processed by authorised Kopus staff and, for hosting, sending emails and messaging, by technical providers acting on our instructions. On the contact page, protection against automated submissions is provided by Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited), under Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). It is neither sold nor rented. Where a provider is located outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to Let’s discuss your project; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, protected by strict security headers, and embeds no third-party resource, except Google reCAPTCHA on the contact page. Access to data is limited to those who need it.
Updates
This policy may change to keep up with the website or the regulations. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
